Celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at the Art Gallery of
Ballarat with an exhibition of vintage prints from London's V&A
Museum taken by royal photographer, Sir Cecil Beaton
The Queen Elizabeth II by Cecil Beaton: A Diamond Jubilee
Celebration showcases 100 portraits over a 30 year period depicting
Elizabeth in her various royal roles from princess, to monarch, to
mother. Not only will you experience rarely seen photographs, you
will also have the opportunity to read through extracts from
Beaton's personal diaries and letters which reveal insights into
the royal world and conversations exchanged between Beaton and Her
Majesty the Queen.
Be part of history and come experience these timeless pieces of
art.
The exhibition is open from Saturday the 25th of February 2012
until Sunday 15th April 2012.
The Ian Potter Gallery is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Admission $12, Concession $8, Children Free. Combined ticket to
the exhibition and begonia display in the Conservatory $14,
Concession $9. Entry to the Gallery itself is free.

years by hosting the 'Eureka' Ballarat Stamp Fair.
