Prime Ministers' Avenue tour
Take a tour of the Prime Ministers' Avenue Tour and hear the
stories behind the collection of bronze busts of every past
Australia Prime Minister.
Come face to face with 26 Prime Ministers, starting with the
first, Edmund Barton, in the magnificent Horse Chestnut Avenue. The
sculptures are bronze portraits mounted on polished granite
pedestals which have been created by four Victorian sculptors.
Marble Statues tour
This tour will reveal the history and stories surrounding the
wonderful collection of statuary at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
Learn the history of the Stoddard Statues and four fine white
marble statues within the Statuary Pavillion - Ruth, Modesty,
Rebeka and Susannah; as well as the larger than life 'Flight From

Ballarat Botanical Gardens - Curator's Garden

Botanical Gardens Curator, Peter Marquand, will share his story
of the Gardens and highlight significant accomplishments in the
conservation and maintenance of one of Australia's most significant
cool climate gardens.
How to grow Begonia talks
Sessions on 'How to Grow Begonias' will also be on offer to
teach interested garden beginners and enthusiasts the hints and
tips you need to know for growing Begonias.
Learn the tricks of the trade for growing begonias in your
backyard. Talks will be given by local experts. Join one of four
daily open-air talks to discover more about the famous Ballarat
Begonia's.
