Waste Stations

Separation of waste is key in our aim to achieve a more sustainable festival footprint – and we need your help by doing the right thing and using the right bin: Red for Landfill & Yellow for Recycling. We also have separate bins for Food Waste (food leftovers and any compostable packaging can be put into the food waste bins).

More useful Tips for the festival weekend:

  • BYO reusable drink bottle or purchase one from Central Highlands Water.
  • BYO coffee cup, shopping bag, etc.
  • Follow instructions of volunteers at waste stations.
  • Don’t drop your rubbish on the ground – please place it in the bins provided.
  • Avoid bringing any soft plastics (plastic bottles/bags).
